HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO STREET TRUCKS. Last month I mentioned August ’99 represented the premier (Vol. 1 No. 1) issue of this magazine. “Big Mike” Kaufman’s Silverado earned the prestigious honor of the first cover. I’ve mentioned this truck in writing and on Our Lifestyle Podcast in the past. With OBS trucks “on da rise” it’s important to draw the line in the sand.

This truck set the standard for greatness while simultaneously launching your favorite truck magazine with the motto “the all-encompassing custom truck publication.” Twenty-two years later, we feel we are still on top setting the standard for how a custom truck magazine should be presented each month. The same could be said about Mike’s truck setting the standard with Chevy OBS trucks. Kal Koncepts graphics, Colorado Custom wheels, full detailed engine bay/undercarriage, phantom grille, killer body mods, super clean interior and several legendary builders brought together a truly legendary build. Here’s to the future of the truck scene we all enjoy.
