third generation of new models has been added to the AUnverferth X-Treme grain cart line that now has capacities of 1,000, 1,110, and 1,300 bushels and unload speeds up to 620 bushels per minute. “The body of the cart was redesigned with steeper slopes to accommodate higher-moisture grain. The back side is 30°,” says Shawn Gerdeman of Unverferth.

A patented front-folding, corner-mounted auger design allows for greater forward and side unloading capabilities on the models 1019, 1119, and 1319. “Some farmers like that corner mounting because it gives them better visibility while they are folding it,” explains Jerry Ecklund of Unverferth. “It also actually reaches out a little bit farther and it’s a little bit taller than previous models.”

The carts offer a soft-start, single-point auger engagement, and a continuous-flow flighting design ensures a smooth connection of the upper and lower augers for added durability and unloading speed. All augers are equipped with 7∕16-inch-thick edge flighting for longer life. The hydraulic-controlled downspout gives you more than 3½ feet of movement in and out, left and right.

Undercarriage options range from single high-flotation or straddle duals and tracks. For tracks, spring- cushioning or hydraulic tensioning designs are available in 36-inch widths. The Unverferth Equalizer design for 42-inch-wide belts for less compaction is also available on some models.

X-Treme carts are available in either red or green. The 1019 model starts at $57,600. Go to umequip.com.
