Kaya Fest celebration of Marley, marijuana returning to Miami
Advance tickets are now available for Kaya Fest, the annual celebration of the cannabis plant that will return to its roots in Miami with performances by Bob Marley’s sons Ziggy, Stephen, Damian, Ky-Mani and Julian Marley.
The festival will take place April 20 at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater. Organizers say more headliners will be named; past Kaya Fest performers include Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul and Inner Circle.
The early bird generaladmission tickets for Kaya Fest cost $50 through 11:59 p.m. Jan. 20 at LiveNation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and by calling 800-745-3000. Regular tickets (general admission, reserved, VIP and VIP box accommodations) will go on sale 10 a.m. Jan.21.
Kaya Fest is the creation of Stephen Marley, the eight-time Grammy Awardwinning singer, songwriter, musician and producer, as a way to celebrate the various uses of the cannabis plant, from its medical properties to the commercial applications of hemp.
