The new year is in full swing and lo­cal event pro­gram­ming is promised to be even big­ger and bet­ter.

Some of the hottest ex­hibits are still on dis­play, so make sure to take ad­van­tage be­fore they’re gone.

Di­nosaurs are roam­ing wild at the South Florida Sci­ence Cen­ter at Di­nosaur In­va­sion; things are light­ing up at Frost Sci­ence’s Crea­tures of Light: Na­ture’s Bi­o­lu­mi­nes­cence; and find your way through a col­or­ful, translu­cent maze at Young at Art’s LightS­capes ex­hibit.

1. Camp­fire & Night Walk at Arch Creek Park, Fri­day, 7-9 p.m.
