Sam­son is play­ing the role of “Satur­day Night Live” im­pre­sario Lorne Michaels in the New Theatre’s pro­duc­tion of “Not Ready for Prime­time.” The show chron­i­cles the early years of the sto­ried late-night sketch-com­edy se­ries that made house­hold names of John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Gilda Rad­ner, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Mur­ray, Gar­rett Mor­ris, Laraine New­man and Jane Curtin.
