“The Soul of Mo­tor City”

In the ’50s and ’60s the top soul hits came from Detroit, from Aretha Franklin to the su­per­stars of Mo­town (Ste­vie Won­der, Smokey Robin­son, the Supremes, the Temp­ta­tions, Marvin Gaye, the Jack­son 5). This re­vue is di­rected by show­man Kevin Black, who says in a news re­lease, “After 25 years of di­rect­ing and pro­duc­ing shows that have played all over the world, I fi­nally have the op­por­tu­nity to cre­ate a show fea­tur­ing my ab­so­lute fa­vorite style of mu­sic, the songs from The Mo­tor City, Detroit.”
