Murder They Vote
The interactive-theater company Mystery on the Menu is back with a new immersive murder to solve. Once again, audience members will be chosen to read parts in the show narrated by producer-director Barbara Fox. When: 7 p.m. June 24 Where: Mama Mia Italian Ristorante, 1818 S. Young Circle, Hollywood

Living Out Loud
The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus will perform this piece they commissioned in 2011 to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The inspiration for “Living Out Loud” came from sessions during a retreat with chorus members. The concert will also include favorite pieces from the group’s repertoire. Characters f rom Dr. Seuss’ stories such as “Horton Hears a Who,” “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham” make an appearance in this show with music by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (“Ragtime,” “Once on This Island”). The production stars 40 students from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Senior Conservatory summer camp.
