The in­ter­ac­tive-the­ater com­pany Mys­tery on the Menu is back with a new im­mer­sive mur­der to solve. Once again, au­di­ence mem­bers will be cho­sen to read parts in the show nar­rated by pro­ducer-di­rec­tor Bar­bara Fox. When: 7 p.m. June 24 Where: Mama Mia Ital­ian Ristorante, 1818 S. Liv­ing Out Loud

The Fort Laud­erdale Gay Men’s Cho­rus will per­form this piece they com­mis­sioned in 2011 to cel­e­brate their 30th an­niver­sary. The in­spi­ra­tion for “Liv­ing Out Loud” came from ses­sions dur­ing a re­treat with cho­rus mem­bers. The con­cert will also in­clude fa­vorite pieces from the group’s reper­toire. Char­ac­ters f rom Dr. Seuss’ sto­ries such as “Hor­ton Hears a Who,” “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham” make an ap­pear­ance in this show with mu­sic by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Fla­herty (“Rag­time,” “Once on This Is­land”). The pro­duc­tion stars 40 stu­dents from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Se­nior Con­ser­va­tory sum­mer camp.
