THE STORY Disney theme parks plan to stop offering unlimited front ofthe- line access to disabled visitors in a bid to prevent abuses by travelers who have exploited the programby hiring disabled tour guides to pose as familymembers.

THE QUESTION

Is this fair?

YOUR COMMENTS Yes. The handicapped should get EQUAL treatment, not preferred.

Mike Carroll Why not make people provide proof of disability? And only allow up to two familymembers to join the disabled person. Andmake them show IDs to prove they are family.

Christina Meyer

It’s about time.

Adrian Baksh The park is hardly handicapped-friendly to begin with. We took our kids to Magic King do mat the beginning of the year and the restaurant ( if youwant to call it that— itwas more like being in a can of sardines) was so packed and tight therewas noway a person could walk through, let alone get through with a wheelchair.

Jennifer Nanni Very sad that people will take advantage thisway and ruin it for others that truly benefited.

David Plath How ’bout the “Handicapped Parking” FRAUD? Canwe fix that next?

Steve Thacker If you are mad, blame this couple: Headline from NY Post. com: “Rich Manhattan mom shire handicap tour guides so kids can cut lines at DisneyWorld.”

Angel Holloway As jacked up as it is to exploit the system, that is a pretty freakin’ smartway tomake a grand a day.

Sara Philpot Neal The fact that people will pay disabled people to help them jump the line at Disney is another sign that the apocalypse can’t be far off.

David Kessler Not all disabilities warrant line skipping. All rides are wheelchair accessible. Some disabilities however, warrant line skipping for all involved.

Shari Rutner Kalkstein Yes require proof, why ruin it for all of us? Mydaughter has a disability that you cannot see. She has a syndrome, Hyperekplexia, look it up, it’s not fun and I will not go there if we have to first go to the ride and then get a pass to come back. That’s not fair at all!

Stacy German Gutner Howmany people would actually do such a thing? And how many handicapped people would comply? There is no such problem. This is just stupid.
