Fort Lauderdale

9 a.m., March 25 600 block of East Melrose Circle Thieves took two bicycles and skateboards from a home’s yard.

8:30 p.m., March 23 2100 block of Northwest 62nd Street Burglars broke into eight vehicles using a window punch and stole purses, wallets and other items.

5:48 p.m., March 20 1600 block of East Sunrise Boulevard A burglar pried open the deadbolts on the doors of several apartments and stole several items, including a laptop computer, a camera, jewelry and watches.

Oakland Park

4:15 p.m., March 6 3400 block of Northwest 21st Avenue A burglar smashed a vehicle’s passenger’s side window and made off with a book bag containing a laptop and tablet computer, checkbooks and other items.

9:11 p.m., March 6 200 block of Northeast 40th Court A thief made off with a 2008 Nissan Sentra that had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

9:27 a.m., March 6 5000 block of North Dixie Highway A thief took an iPhone left to charge on a countertop in a business.

9:54 p.m., March 3 3300 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue A burglar broke into a home and stole a watch and two tablet computers.

9:22 p.m., March 2 2700 block of South Oakland Forest Drive A thief took a bicycle from an apartment complex.

6 a.m., Feb. 28 1500 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard A thief smashed a vehicle’s front driver’s side window and took a GPS.

Wilton Manors

12:41 a.m., Feb. 16 900 block of Northwest 26th Street A thief stole a three-wheel bicycle from a home’s porch.

2:55 p.m., Feb. 15 700 block of Northwest 30th Court A neighbor saw two men who appeared to be looking into vehicles in a driveway. When one of them started pulling at a door handle, he yelled out and the men fled.

10:28 p.m., Feb. 14 1100 block of Northwest 30th Court A burglar smashed a vehicle’s rear passenger’s side window, rummaged through the interior and took about $3 in change.

Deerfield Beach

1:38 a.m., March 17

1700 block of Riverview Road Two people were arrested for trespassing and possession of cocaine.

2:11 a.m., March 18 200 block of Northwest Second Street During a traffic stop, a man was arrested for driving with a suspended license and possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

5:32 p.m., March 19 200 block of Northwest 45th Avenue A thief smashed a car’s window and stole a purse.

Midnight, March 20 400 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard A man was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Pompano Beach

7:09 a.m., Feb. 23 1500 block of North Powerline Road Thieves stole the tires off a vehicle outside a business.

1 p.m., Feb. 23 600 block of East Atlantic Boulevard A thief stole a pump motor and ladder from a truck.

8:37 p.m., Feb. 23 2800 block of North Course Drive Thieves smashed a home’s window and stole electronics

and jewelry.

11 p.m., Feb. 23 1000 block of Southwest 46th Avenue A burglar broke into a home and stole a TV.

Lauderdale Lakes

10:30 a.m., March 16 3500 block of Northwest 32nd Court A thief stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle.

7:33 p.m., March 15 4100 block of Northwest 48th Avenue While working on a pool pump, a man was attacked by a pit bull. A neighbor fired one shot from his handgun into the ground in an effort to scare the dog away. This worked and the victim was transported to the hospital for puncture wounds to his arms and legs.

12:44 a.m., March 16 3500 block of Northwest 30th Street A man was charged with possession of cannabis.

11:21 p.m., March 16 2700 block of Northwest 35th Avenue A thief stole a work ID and a security access card from an unlocked vehicle.

Lighthouse Point

4:37 a.m., March 16 4500 block of North Federal Highway Witnesses reported seeing a group of juveniles breaking into vehicles. Police found several unlocked doors, but nothing appeared to be taken.

2700 block of Northwest 13th Court A man was arrested for possession of cocaine.

9:11 p.m., March 16 1400 block of Northwest 14th Street A man was charged with having an open container of alcohol.

4200 block of Peters Road Someone threw a rock through a home’s glass door.
