Jose Abreu hit a grand slam, Adam LaRoche added a threerun homer and four RBIs and Melky Cabrera contribute­d a career-high four hits as the visiting White Sox piled up 17 hits Saturday to beat the Tigers 12-3.

The White Sox scored nine runs off starter Anibal Sanchez, who lasted just 31⁄3 innings for the Tigers, who lost for the second time in 11 games. Blue Jays 6, Braves 5: Josh Donaldson hit his third home run in two days, a walk-off shot in the 10th. Kelly Johnson’s solo homer tied it in the 9th for the Braves. Cubs 7, Padres 6: Starlin Castro’s bases-loaded single in the 11th drove in the winning run after the Cubs blew a four-run lead in the ninth. Miguel Montero hit two homers for the Cubs. Pirates 6, Brewers 2: Starling Marte homered for the second game in a row and drove in a career-high five. Astros 4, Angels 0: Robbie Grossman and George Springer homered. Dallas Keuchel and three relievers pitched a three-hitter. Athletics 5, Royals 0: Jesse Hahn and Jesse Chavez combined on a seven-hit shutout. Josh Reddick hit a three-run homer. Mets 5, Marlins 4: Wilmer Flores and Travis d’Arnaud homered and Jacob deGrom pitched seven shutout innings as the Mets won their seventh straight. Yankees 9, Rays 0: Chris Young belted a grand slam. Masahiro Tanaka allowed two hits and fanned eight in seven innings. Diamondbac­ks at Giants: Josh Collmenter pitched MLB’s first complete game in the Diamondbac­ks’ 9-0 win Friday. Rockies at Dodgers: Zack Greinke entered with a 0.69 ERA over his first two starts for the Dodgers. Rangers at Mariners: Felix Hernandez took the mound for the Mariners, who sought to snap a four-game losing streak.
