5 a.m., March12 5800 block of North Andrews Avenue A burglar broke into a vehicle in a hotel parking lot and stole a saw. He also tried to start the vehicle by ripping apart the steering column, but was unsuccessful.

3500 block of Lloyd Drive A burglar broke into a home and stole an iPhone, three DVDs and some change.

11:25 p.m., March 9 3500 block of North Andrews Avenue A thief stole a bicycle that had been locked to a rack.
11:50 p.m., March 7 1000 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard A burglar smashed a vehicle’s front passenger’s side window and stole a diaper bag, which contained a tablet computer and bank cards.

2200 block of Wilton Drive A man dropped his credit card in a shopping plaza, and when he checked his account, he saw it had been used in a bar, a nightclub and to order a pizza from a restaurant. The suspect was arrested when he went to pick up the pizza.
3 a.m., Feb. 20 1100 block of Northwest 30th Court A thief cut the cable securing a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle and stole it from an apartment complex.
7:57 a.m., Feb. 2 First block of Northeast 27th Drive Someone cut the lock on the gate to a home’s backyard and opened a shed’s door. Nothing was reported stolen.
