Repair shops often part of hit-and-run problem

- Marvin Bransdorf, Boca Raton

Another day and another hit-and-run in South Florida. It seems that very, very rarely are drivers caught. I am sure that the person involved is not running around with a damaged car. This scumbag has probably found another scumbag to fix his car without caring about how this damage occurred.

I therefore propose a law that any repair shop that does not report a front-end damaged vehicle be subject to a severe penalty, jail time and a permanent loss of the business license. Maybe this could put some brakes on hit-and-runs.
