Gere to be honored:

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which opens July 3, will honor actor Richard Gere for his outstanding contribution to world cinema. Gere, along with director Oren Moverman and actress Jena Malone, will present the movie “Time Out of Mind” to kick off the festival.
