(Spanish)

On the mound RHP Jose Ureña (1-3, 4.18) vs. RHP Carlos Martinez (7-3, 2.80): Urena has allowed two or fewer runs in his past three starts and has gone at least six innings with a 2.55 ERA in four June outings. He will need to continue to impress to stay in the rotation with Jose Fernandez returning soon and Justin Nicolino now in the mix after a superlative debut. The Cardinals continue to develop quality pitchers like nobody else, and Martinez is the latest example. The 23-year-old has transitioned smoothly from the bullpen to the rotation with an electric repertoire, including a devastating slider that should give the Marlins fits. He has a 0.89 ERA in his past six starts, going at least 6 1⁄ innings each time.
