College hosts sports and technology startup event

The Innovation Hub at Broward College, a startup co-working and educationa­l center, is hosting an event on June 25 for entreprene­urs interested in starting a technology- or sports-related business.

The first Startup Grind Fort Lauderdale chapter monthly event will feature business owner Paula Celestino, a Broward College alumna. The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the college’s Cypress Creek Administra­tive Center, 6400 N.W. 6th Way, Fort Lauderdale.

Startup Grind is a global startup community, powered by Google for Entreprene­urs, designed to educate, inspire and connect entreprene­urs. Events are hosted monthly in more than 150 cities and 65 countries.
