Carolina Ansmann’s lifestyle of exercise and a healthy diet inspired this new sandwich and smoothie shop with vegan options. She gives credit for much of her menu to her partner, Renato Polidori, owner of La Dolce Vita in Fort Lauderdale’s Galt Ocean Mile neighborhood.
“It is Renato’s creativity that brings a typical prosciutto panini to greatness when you touch it with a fabulous fava bean pesto or make a vegan burger taste so flavorful that it has become one of our best-sellers,” says Ansmann.
You can choose from five breads or wraps for that vegan lentil burger with house-made onion marmalade ($8.50) and prosciutto and fava bean pesto ($9.50). Protein choices are offered for salads (starting at $5.95), such as vegan red quinoa with guaca-soy dressing.
Smoothies range from $4.95 to $7.95, such as mixed berries with agave, turmeric, chia seeds and coconut milk. Juices ($3.95-$4.95) are squeezed fresh.
A soothing beige ties together an earthy ambience with wood and lime accent walls. Dark-wood high tops lend a relaxed feel. Lunch is served daily, except Sundays, with breakfast on the way.
