Everlast Worldwide, a retailer of boxing gloves, punching bags and other boxing equipment and apparel, plans to open its first U.S. brick-and-mortar stores this summer.

Two of the three stores will be in Broward County — one at Westfield Broward Mall in Plantation and the other at Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines. A third store has opened at Westfield Countryside Mall in Clearwater.

The Broward stores are expected to open in July, but specific opening dates were not available.

Besides boxing equipment, Everlast stores will offer MMA gear and other apparel and accessories for men and women who practice other fitness activities, including yoga, running and cycling.

Everlast products are traditionally sold on the company’s website and in sporting goods stores. The retailer has other brick-and-mortar stores in other countries, but the South Florida ones are among the first in the U.S.

Westfield Broward mall is at 8000 W. Broward Blvd. and Pembroke Lakes Mall at 14201 Pines Blvd.
