Bank market manager puts ‘boots on the ground’
Who: Stephanie Glavin was recently promoted from project manager to market manager for Bank of America for Palm Beach County, in West Palm Beach. She says her experience in for-profit and nonprofit roles brings the best decision-making and strategy practices into her new role. Myth-busting What don’t people know about this job: There is a perception that we spend our time attending luncheons and fancy after-hours events, but that’s not really accurate, nor does it encompass all that is included in this position. A lot of energy and strategy is put forth toward working within a set budget, attending a lot of internal and external meetings, “boots on the ground” type site visits and listening tours with many nonprofit organizations. Additionally, this job involves communicating and convening our internal teams on many different initiatives that we are
usually working on simultaneously.
