Comment: Converted from forward a couple years ago, can provide some offense from the blue line. Had 14 goals and 35 assists in 68 OHL games last season. Knock is he lacks speeds. Comes from hockey family; brother Geoffrey drafted by Lightning in 2010. Will return to Owen Sount this season.

Comment: Was ranked 20th among European skates by the Central Scouting service. Right-handed shooter who had eight points in 23 games for Zurich last season. He added 16 points in 18 games with the Swiss Under-18’s in internatio­nal play. Needs to develop physically. Will most likely play in Swiss A league again. “Might be the biggest sleeper in the draft,’’ Panthers GM Dale Tallon said. “He’s a dynamic one-on-one player and will be fun to watch.’’

Comment: The Indiana native had 19 goals, 43 points in 32 games in his final high school season. Grew up in an Amish community. Tallon says he’s one of the fastest skaters in draft, but needs to get much stronger. He’ll play for Green Bay in the USHL this year and then for Miami of Ohio.

Comment: Ranked 113th in Central Scouting, the Nebraskan native potted 33 goals and 55 points for Tri-City. Has strong bloodlines as his father David was drafted 20th by the Canadiens in 1992 and played six years in the NHL with 36 points in 167 games and won a Memorial Cup with the Kamloops Blazers. Will play in University of North Dakota this fall.

Panthers scouting director Scott Luce said he’s the ultimate competitor who on, “every shift is out to hurt the other team by scoring a big goal or with a big check.’’ Will eventually play for Univ. of Maine.

Comment: The native of Macomb, Mich., has committed to play in college at Bowling Green after another season at Johnstown. He notched a 2.66 GAA in 37 games for the Tomahawks. Considered a long-range, five-year developmen­t prospect, athletic with a lanky frame that will become an asset as he fills out.
