Giants: Matt Duffy finished a single short of the cycle in a 6-3 win over the Rockies. ... Brandon Crawford’s 10th home run matched his career best.

Rockies: Nolan Arenado homered twice against the Giants, giving him eight in his last seven games. Arenado has at least one hit, one run and one RBI in seven straight. He also has a 15-game hitting streak.

Rangers: A 3-2 loss to the Blue Jays was the Rangers’ eighth in 10 games, but Prince Fielder went 2-for-4. He has five consecutiv­e multiple-hit games and leads the majors with 33.

Rays: Grady Sizemore was called up and got three hits with an RBI in a 5-3 loss to the Red Sox. Sizemore, 32, was released June 1 by the Phillies.

Orioles: The 4-0 victory over the Indians in the opener of a doublehead­er was the Orioles’ 5,000th since moving from St. Louis to Baltimore in 1954.

Marlins: Home run leader Giancarlo Stanton underwent surgery on his broken left hand. The timetable for his return remains four to six weeks.

Pirates: OF Jose Tabata was designated for assignment a second time. GM Neal Huntington said Tabata, who is due $4 million this season, is open to returning to the minors if he clears waivers. ...
