9 a.m., Dec. 10, 5000 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. Someone smashed the front window of a vehicle and stole a Michael Kors purse containing a driver’s license and credit cards.

7:30 p.m., Dec. 11, 6500 block of Southwest Seventh Street. Someone smashed a rear bathroom window in an unsuccessful apparent attempt to gain entry to a home.

5 p.m., Dec. 11, 400 block of Banks Road. A thief broke into a car and stole a cell phone with charger and a box of pots and pans.

6 a.m., Dec. 12, 6000 Northwest 16th Street. Someone broke into an unlocked vehicle and stole a small amount of money.

9:23 a.m., Dec. 4, 5500 block of Alexandra Boulevard. A thief broke into a car and stole a purse containing a cell phone, debit card, driver’s license and $500 in currency.

7 p.m., Dec. 4, 5500 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard. Two subjects were caught shoplifting after grabbing $118.98 in merchandise and leaving the store without paying.

6:41 p.m., Dec. 7, 6500 block of North State Road 7. After smashing a car’s door, a thief stole two vases from the back seat.

12:36 p.m., Dec. 7, 4700 block of Cocoplum Parkway. A man was arrested for shoplifting after concealing a pair of women’s sunglasses and men’s watch and trying to leave the store.
