The following is a sampling of police reports collected from local police departments and the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Dania Beach

3:20 p.m., Dec. 8, 4400 block of Southwest 23rd Avenue. A thief broke into a home through a window and stole prescription medications.

5:10 p.m., Dec. 8, 5900 block of Southwest 40th Avenue. A motorcycle was stolen sometime overnight.

7:15 p.m., Dec. 8, 1800 block of Griffin Road. Someone stole $100 in foreign currency from a room.

9:47 p.m., Dec. 8, 2000 block of Griffin Road. A driver was charged with possession of marijuana.

Hallandale Beach

6:30 a.m., Nov. 16, 100 block of Northwest Fourth Avenue. Someone broke into a home

and stole several items.

8:36 p.m., Nov. 16, 800 block of Foster Road. A woman reported she was the victim of aggravated battery.

11:19 a.m., Nov. 17, 2500 block of East Hallandale Beach Boulevard. A shoplifter was caught trying to steal items from a retail store.

Nov. 17, 1000 block of Northwest First Court. A car dealer was victimized by several instances of credit card fraud over the past three weeks.

8:07 a.m., Nov. 18, 700 block of Northwest Third Court. A 22-year-old woman was arrested and charged with criminal mischief.

West Park

8 a.m., Dec. 7, 4700 block of Southwest 21st Street. A park gate was damaged.

7:19 p.m., Dec. 9, 3300 block of Southwest 40th Street. A thief stole a bicycle that was left in a carport. 10:59 p.m., Dec. 9, 5600 block of Southwest 18th Street. A driver was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop.

2:04 a.m., Dec. 10, 4600 block of Southwest 19th Street. During a traffic stop, a passenger was charged with possession of Vicodin.

Pembroke Park

1:38 p.m., Dec. 10, 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. A driver was charged with possession of marijuana.

2:43 a.m., Dec. 18, 4800 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. A passenger in a vehicle was charged with possessing six grams of marijuana.

7:15 p.m., Dec. 9, 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. After a vehicle crash, a man was found in possession of several small bags of marijuana.

Fort Lauderdale

11 a.m., Nov. 30, 1700 block of Northeast 14th Street. A laptop was stolen from a student’s backpack that was left in a locker room.

4 p.m., Dec. 1, 1200 block of Northeast Fifth Terrace. A middle school student reported he was followed home by two men that grabbed his cell phone and fled.

1:02 p.m., Dec. 2, 900 block of Northeast Fourteenth Avenue. Two men got into a fight and one man was punched in the face and robbed of $100.
