Coral Springs

5:17 p.m., Dec. 17, 9500 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. A man was arrested for retail theft, resisting an officer without violence, and providing a false name to a law enforcement officer.

8:30 p.m., Dec. 17, 3800 block of Turtle Creek Drive. A man was arrested after he tried to steal several items from a store.

8:43 p.m., Dec. 17, 3800 block of Turtle Creek Drive. A woman was arrested for shoplifting after she tried to steal $235.28 worth of merchandise from a store.

Tamarac

11:07 p.m., Dec. 14, 5900 block of Northwest 56th Terrace. Someone broke into a home via a bedroom window but no items were taken.

11:25 p.m., Dec. 15, 8800 block of Northwest 78th Street. Following a traffic stop, a driver was found with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

7:22 a.m., Dec. 16, 5700 block of Northwest 58th Avenue. Deputies responded to a report of domestic disturbance.

7:27 a.m., Dec. 16, 5100 block of East Sabal Palm Boulevard. A thief smashed the front passenger window of 2007 Honda Fit and stole an iPad and laptop.

7:15 p.m., Dec. 14, 7500 block of Northwest 79th Avenue. A burglar broke into a home and stole jewelry.

Margate

1:30 p.m., Dec. 16, 7600 block of Northwest 21st Court. Three pool cues were

stolen from a bedroom.

8 a.m., Dec. 16, 400 block of Southwest 64th Terrace. Someone entered an unlocked SUV and stole Christmas gifts from a back hatch.

1:30 p.m., Dec. 16, 5500 block of Atlantic Boulevard. A subject was observed placing $72 in merchandise in his backpack and trying to leave the store.

9 a.m., Dec. 16, 5400 block of Copans Road. A 2016 Ford Lariot was determined to be missing during an inventory check.

Coconut Creek

4:05 p.m., Dec. 18, 3600 block of Cocoplum Circle. Someone stole a bicycle that was left inside the porch area of a home.

4:26 p.m., Dec. 28, 6000 block of Northwest 45th Way. A 2013 Nissan Versa was stolen from a guest spot in front of a residence. 10:49 p.m., Dec. 29, 200 block of Southwest 46th Avenue. A purse that was found at the entrance of Fern Forest was later returned to the owner.

5:43 p.m., Dec. 29, 5500 block of Lyons Road. A thief stole an iPhone that was left on a piece of excercise equipment.

Lauderhill

7 p.m., Dec. 15, 5300 block of Northwest 27th Street. A thief broke into a home and stole a laptop computer and iPad.

6:35 p.m., Dec. 15, 5600 block of Northwest 19th Street. Someone threw a rock through kitchen window.

7:20 a.m., Dec. 16, 2100 block of Northwest 54th Avenue. Rental agreement paperwork was stolen from a vehicle’s glove box.

7:30 a.m., Dec. 11, 4800

block of Northwest 11th Place. A thief broke into a car and stole a backpack containing a bank card, house key, and school ID card.

Parkland

6:26 p.m., Dec. 13, 10800 block of Northwest 66th Court. A vandal shattered a rear patio bedroom window of a home.

Noon, Dec. 14, 6600 block of Northwest 81st Terrace. A wallet containing a U.S. passport, a concealed weapons permit, and other papers was found on Holmberg Road and returned to the owner.

6:28 p.m., Dec. 14, 8800 block of Lakeview Place. A woman reported someone applied for credit in her name without her knowledge.

North Lauderdale

3:20 a.m., Dec. 9, 1200 block of Hampton Boulevard. A man was arrested for possession of marijuana, a scale, woman reported she was threatened with a lawsuit by someone claiming to be from the IRS.

5:30 p.m., Dec. 15, 6900 block of Southwest Seventh Place. Someone attempting to break into a home thorugh a window broke a large mirror and fled.

4:50 a.m., Dec. 16, 7900 block of Southwest Sixth Court. A vandal smashed two car windows and stole two laptops, clothing, and a purse.
