Chevrolet Suburban with an alarm that started blaring shortly before 6:15 a.m. Thursday.

“I could see him because the vehicle lights were on and as soon as he saw me he took off,” Bisnath, 24, said. “I wasn’t going to chase him because I have a newborn inside the house [so] I just went inside and called the cops.”

Another man caught Reavers and his alleged accomplice breaking into his white truck and when he approached the pair the accomplice pointed a gun at him so the truckowner ranoff, the police report stated.

A woman told officers that a Smith and Wesson .38 Special was among the items stolen from her vehicle during the burglary spree, detectives said.

Police recovered two backpacks full of stolen property that included Beats headphones, earphones, a Coachwallet containing $50 cash, a Michael Kors designer watch, computer tablets and laptops, bottles of cologne, purses and pocketbooks containing nearly $700, hundreds of coins and the gun, investigators said.

During questioning, Reavers confessed to breaking into between15 and 30 vehicles. Both he and his alleged accomplice admitted to handling the gun they stole and having it with them during some of their burglaries, police said.

“It’s very irritating,” said Bisnath, who said he previously had a Pontiac G8 stolen fromhis driveway and two other burglaries involving his Suburban since October.

“The way I look at it is it’s Spring Break [and] they needed something to do,” he said of this latest incident.

Reavers and the 17-year-old were arrested Thursday. Reavers is being held without bond, jail records show.
