NORTON, Mass. — Jon Rahm made five birdies and an eagle over his last 10 holes for a 5-under 66 and a two-shot lead Saturday at the halfway point of the Dell Technologies Championship.

Rahm ended the back nine with a 12-foot eagle putt and then shot 31 on the back nine to build a lead in the morning that no one could catch. He was at 9-under 133, two shots clear of Paul Casey, Adam Hadwin, Kyle Stanley and Kevin Streelman.

On a cool, calm day at the TPC Boston, Dustin Johnson went backward. He had a pair of double bogeys and shot a 72, leaving him five shots behind Rahm.

Phil Mickelson had a 67 and boosted his chances of being on the Presidents Cup. He was three behind.

Stacy Lewis took a three-stroke lead Saturday at the Cambia Portland Classic in Portland, Ore., in her bid make a big donation to hurricane relief in her hometown and end a long winless streak.

From The Woodlands in the Houston area, Lewis has pledged to give her earnings — first place is worth $195,000 — to the relief efforts. The 11-time LPGA Tour champion also is trying to win for the first time since June 2014.

Tied for the secondround lead with two-time defending champion Brooke Henderson and In Gee Chun, Lewis had eight birdies in a 7-under 65 to reach 17 under at tree-lined Columbia Edgewater. She opened with rounds of 70 and 64.

Moriya Jutanugarn was second after a 66. Chun was another stroke back after a 69.

Henderson had a 74 to drop into a tie for 13th at 8 under. Ai Miyazato also was 8 under after a 72 in her final start in the United States. The Japanese star plans to retire after The Evian Championship in two weeks in France.

Scott McCarron eagled the par-5 18th for a 6-under 64 and a two-stroke lead Saturday in the PGA Tour Champions’ Shaw Charity Classic in Calgary, Alberta.

McCarron also eagled the closing hole Friday at Canyon Meadows in an opening 63. He Saturday, he holed a 30-footer after teeing off with a 3-wood and hitting a 4-iron from 249 yards.

“I’m kind of a ham, so we’ve got huge grandstands there, everybody one’s waving the towels, which is a lot of fun, makes for a great environment,” McCarron said. “I love coming up here. I love the fans. They really enjoy golf, they enjoy good golf.”

First-round leader Kevin Sutherland, McCarron’s childhood rival in Sacramento, California, was tied for second with Miguel Angel Jimenez. Sutherland followed his opening 62 with a 67, and Jimenez shot 65.

McCarron has three victories this year and five in the last two seasons on the 50-and-over tour. The three-time PGA Tour winner won the Allianz Championship in February, the major Senior Players Championship in July and the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open two weeks ago.

“It doesn’t get easier but I feel very confident in what I’m doing,” McCarron said.

Scott Dunlap and Todd Hamilton were three strokes back at 10 under after 66s.

Nick Faldo had a 64 to join Jerry Kelly and Bob Estes at 9 under.

Kelly, coming off his first senior title last week in the Boeing Classic in Washington, and Estes each shot 65.
