Four teens were arrested after a brief chase and crash with police after a 20-minute armed robbery spree at three different locations.

The incident began late Friday and ended early Saturday, according to a Hollywood police spokeswoman.

Three teens from Miami, and another from Pompano Beach, all 16, were arrested on various charges, including armed robbery, stealing a car, reckless driving, trespassing, resisting an officer, driving without a license and possession of marijuana.

The four are suspected of carjacking a 2009 white Volkswagen from MiamiDade County and driving to Hollywood, according to police. Police received the first report of an armed robbery in the 2000 block of North 58th Avenue at 11:30 p.m.

A delivery man had just gotten into his vehicle when he was pulled out of his car at gunpoint, punched and robbed of his cellphone, according to Miranda

As police were checking the area, another robbery was reported in the 3900 block of North 51st Avenue. This time, a woman opening her door was approached and the suspects demanded she give them everything. They pulled her purse off her shoulder and fled, Grossman said.

Next, at the intersection of North Hills Drive and North 46th Avenue, the suspects drove up to a man walking home, punched him and searched his pockets, Grossman said.

Police tried to stop the car the victims described, but it crashed into cars stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Interstate 95, Grossman said. One of the car’s occupants ran and was apprehended.

The car continued east on Hollywood Boulevard until it crashed into police patrol vehicles at a stop sign at North 20th Avenue. Then, the other three were arrested, Grossman said. Grossman, Hollywood police spokeswoman.
