Why is it that the major credit reporting agencies (TransUnion, Equifax, etc.) update every seven days, and yet my credit card companies seem to report whenever they feel like it? I have seen my credit score yo-yo plus or minus 20 points becausemy credit cardcompan­ies haven’t updated my payments in over a month. This is becoming a major problem as I am trying to move.

Seeing that credit scores are so important— whethermov­ing, buying a house, qualifying for a car loan or lease — why aren’t credit card companies required to report on a timely basis? It’s unfair and there should be banking regulation­s. SunSentine­l.com/ opinion/letters

Ourchildre­n are our future, and for too long teachers have not been paid a fair wage or been appreciate­d and respected. use would require a licensed doctor to direct its use. A doctor would write a prescripti­on for it and patientswo­uld get that filled.

Regarding dispensari­es for this medical cannabis, we have had such licensed and policed distributi­on entities in our community since I can remember. We callthem drug stores. If medicalmar­ijuana is a medically necessary drug, prescribed by a licensed physician for a legitimate use, let people go to their neighborho­od CVS or Walgreens or (for a discount) Walmart and buy it. Get politics out of the medical profession.
