Marlins RHP Dan Straily (4-4, 4.02 ERA, 1.31 WHIP) vs. Nationals RHP Stephen Strasburg (6-7, 3.90, 1.15): After a somewhat rocky start to the season that was exacerbated by a forearm injury, Straily has settled down nicely over his last five starts. He’s gone at least six innings in every outing since June 25, with his last start against the Rays being his second best of the season. He went seven innings and gave up only one run on six hits to Tampa Bay. … Strasburg’s last start, last Friday against the Atlanta Braves, was his first since the beginning of June, when he suffered a shoulder injury that held him out for more than 40 days. In his return against the Braves, Strasburg struggled mightily, giving up six earned runs in 4 2/3 innings. Strasburg has been healthy enough to start, he’s struggled in comparison to past seasons. The three-time All-Star has the highest FIP (3.50) and lowest adjusted-ERA (109) of his career.
