Florida Atlantic’s national rushing touchdowns leader was one of three Owls to receive firstteam All-Conference USA recognition Tuesday.

Junior running back Devin “Motor” Singletary, redshirt senior left tackle Reggie Bain and junior tight end Harrison Bryant were announced as first-team selections among 10 total all-conference selections for FAU.

Singletary’s 22 rushing touchdowns were enough to lead the nation going into bowl season, where someone else may pass him with FAU finishing 5-7 and without a bowl berth. His 1,348 rushing yards in 2018 led C-USA and placed him 10th nationally.

Bain led an offensive line that was No. 14 nationally in two categories — rushing yards and sacks allowed per game. According to FAU, Bain held a lineman grade of 90 percent and recorded 31 knockdowns while allowing just two sacks this season. He started 49 games throughout his college career.

Bryant led all conference tight ends in receiving yards (662) in 2018. He caught 45 passes and scored four touchdowns.

Senior safety Jalen Young, who had 59 tackles, including 2 1⁄2 for a loss, one sack and an interception, was on the second-team defense. Redshirt junior Kerrith Whyte received two nods as he was put on the second team as a kick returner and an honorable mention as a running back.

Joining Whyte as a C-USA honorable mention were right tackle Brandon Walton, receiver Jovon Durante, linebacker Rashad Smith and cornerback Shelton Lewis.

Conference USA’s All-Freshman team was also released Tuesday. Quarterback Chris Robison and offensive guard BJ Etienne, both redshirt freshmen, were the Owls selected.
