ORLANDO — Cardinal Gibbons star defensive end Khris Bogle finished his high school career with a state-championship medal. Now it’s time for him to decide his future.

The four-star prospect has offers from nearly every major football program, including Alabama, Florida and Miami. He plans to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 5.

Bogle plans to take a visit to Miami next weekend, and he knows what he wants to see when he heads down to Coral Gables.

“I’ve been down there so many times,” he said, “I’m just trying to see a different side of Miami.”

Bogle dismissed the notion that he’s narrowed down his choices, listing several teams he’s still interested in.

“LSU just came, Penn State … Florida, Miami, Tennessee, ‘Bama,” he said.

He said he may also visit a school after he commits, but he does not know yet.

Bogle finished his final high school game with six tackles, including one for loss. He finished the season with 54 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks in nine games.

“Nobody thought we would be here today,” Bogle said. “And we’re here … and I’m just happy to be here with all of my brothers.”
