Multiplatinum-selling Boca Raton native Ariana Grande has added a second Miami concert to her Sweetener World Tour stop at AmericanAirlines Arena, with a June 1 performance now following the originally scheduled show on May 31.

Tickets for the new concert will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000. A presale for American Express cardholders will run from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday.

Tickets to the May 31 performance, priced at $45-$245+, are sold out.

Miami was one of several major cities to get an added Ariana Grande concert “due to overwhelming demand,” according to tour promoter Live Nation. Other cities with new shows include New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The Sweetener World Tour kicks off March 18 in Albany, N.Y., and will cross North America through June 26, with a closing concert in Toronto. Normani and Social House will be the opening acts on each stop.

Other Florida stops on the tour are May 28 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa and May 29 at the Amway Center in Orlando.

Her album “Sweetener” (Republic Records) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart when it was released in August. Its other inescapable Top 10 singles include “No Tears Left To Cry” and “God Is a Woman.”
