Legends brunch honors ex-Hornets

Former Hornets players Dell Curry, Muggsy Bogues, Alonzo Mourning and Glen Rice were honorees at the 20th annual NBA legends brunch on Sunday in Charlotte, N.C.

The brunch is a tradition on the morning of the All-Star game.

About 2,000 people attended

200 former NBA players.

Curry, the father of NBA players Stephen and Seth Curry, was presented a “hometown hero” award.

Bogues, at 5-3 the shortest player in NBA history, feted for his work as a community ambassador.

Mourning, who played the first three seasons of his career with the Hornets and the lone Hall of Famer in the group honored Sunday, received the Global Ambassador Award.
