Despite appearance­s, Tuscan Prime is not officially open yet. The new restaurant that has taken over the space that was the home of Grille 401 in Fort Lauderdale is still in the middle of a soft opening, according to management.

The regular menu will be available sometime in late May or early June.

“Monday we’re starting our happy hour and then the following Monday we will start all of this,” explains Anna Sagliano, catering and marketing director for the Las Olas Boulevard eatery, as she gestures to the menu’s listing of happy hour themed nights, called Prime Happenings.

Prime Time (or happy hour) started Monday from 3-7 p.m. and 10 p.m.-close and featured 50 percent off of all starters and flatbreads.

But on Monday, May 27, Tuscan Prime will start what they call their Prime Happenings, which breaks down like this:

Sunday will have a live jazz brunch with bottomless mimosas, Bellinis and Aperol spritzes as well as 50% off of all bottles of wine $99 and under starting at 3 p.m. It’s also “BYOBM” or build your own Bloody Mary.

Tuesday is ladies night with the raffle of a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes at 8 p.m.

When the restaurant opens officially, the hours will be 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 11 a.m.-midnight Fridays and Saturdays (the bar stays open one hour later). Brunch will be served 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Thursday is “Pastabilit­ies,” where all pasta entrees $25 and under will go for $12.

“We’re going to be something that is going to be a little bit different, something that is new,” says general manager Anthony Ortiz.

“Every day is going to be a party. It’s South Florida. Everyone is looking for a reason to come out and enjoy, and we’re going to give them a reason to come out every single day.”
