Fort Lauderdale: The local shops of the Flagler Village area are putting on a special Crossfit — Self Defense — Yoga Event on Saturday. All proceeds go to the Hurricane Relief effort in the Bahamas. Coral Springs: 6-10 p.m. Saturday Bites N Sips, Great Lawn of City Hall, 9500W. Sample Road. Entertainm­ent will include the island sounds of Bradley Brown & Friends and featured band, Gypsy, with lead singer Casey Weston from NBC’s The Voice. A portion of proceeds from the sale of food, drinks and other activities will go to ward the rebuilding of the Bahamas in conjunctio­ns with the Coral Springs Community Chest, Inc. Pompano Beach: Nov. 23, One Love Bahamas, a benefit concert for Hurricane Dorian relief, Amphitheat­er in Pompano Beach.
