Taking
care of the seemingly endless need to maintain a home so it provides a safe and comfortable place for the family to live is a neverending challenge for most homeowners.
Whether it involves a bath remodeling project, hanging a ceiling fan or carpentry work, many homeowners are at a loss about how to find help from someone who is licensed, knowledgeable, reliable and affordable.
What is a homeowner — or the owner of a business — to do when they need help? The answer is simple: Call The Handyman Company. In business since 1999, this Tampa-based company with offices throughout the state offers experts in home repairs and remodeling for both residential and commercial customers throughout Florida.
The Handyman Company’s experienced craftsmen specialize in a variety of skills and they can complete most any job in a home or office. Rancourt makes a kitchen or bathroom look beyond special.
A mix of knowledge, skill and design talent keeps Rancourt Kitchens in competition with larger companies — with a kitchen reface that will suit every price range. The finished product is nothing short of beautiful.
Charging much less per linear foot than larger companies, homeowners get personalized service as they deal directly with the contractor/owner, and still save hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars — a major benefit to homeowners.
“A great price, coupled with fine craftsmanship, is an unbeatable combination,” Rancourt says.
Why reface kitchen cabinets instead of installing new ones?
Quite simply, it’s less expensive and much quicker, taking just two to three days in normal cases.
Refacing is a simple solution for any homeowner who wants a brighter, more modern-looking kitchen or bathroom. It gives the appearance of a homeowner going to the extra expense of replacing an entire set of cabinets.
A new cabinet door style and color scheme increases the enjoyment of living in your home, and substantially adds to its resale value, without the big expense of a complete renovation.
If a homeowner feels the need for new cabinetry and design, that need can be accommodated. As a fullservice interior contractor, Rancourt not only does new cabinetry, but also bathrooms, tile, and wood and laminate flooring.
“We specialize in refacing and altering kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, and we also can change base cabinets to drawers, not rollouts that you have to open doors to get to larger items,” Rancourt says. “The drawers are custom-made made for any size to hold all your large items and pots and pans that are normally stored in the base cabinet.”
Rancourt also can alter cabinets for microwave installs as well. “We offer an extensive line of granite or quartz countertops, laminate countertops, tile backsplashes, crown moldings, and light rail glass doors and shelving,” he says. “In addition we also carry specialty glass for doors and LED lighting.”
The company’s customer base stretches from Miami to Palm Beach County.
During the refacing process, accurate measurements are taken, elevation views sketched, and the opening size for each door and drawer is measured. Bare-faced cabinet frames are prepped, and laminate is applied.
Cabinet doors are custom bored on site for hinge placement, and screwed into the cabinet frame, and each hinge is fully adjustable, so the fit can be fine-tuned later.
Once the doors are in place, crown and light rail moldings are installed. The final stage is to install new knobs, pulls or any interior accessories.
Refacing is done with almost no demolition required. “We guarantee our work up to five years, and the refaced doors come with a 10-year warranty,” says Rancourt, who gained a passion for the profession from his father.
Price, product, professionalism and service sets Rancourt Kitchens apart from the competition.
