FanFest 2020 coming Feb. 8 to Marlins Park

Event is free to fans, who get compliment­ary tickets online

Marlins fans can get revved up about the upcoming season as the Miami Marlins FanFest is set to return to Marlins Park on Feb. 8.

The free event includes activities and experience­s that feature the entire Miami Marlins 40-man roster, but you’ll need to get your compliment­ary tickets online.

From 3-7 p.m., families can partake of a variety of player interactio­ns such as photo opportunit­ies, batting cage experience, kids news conference and a Home Run Derby & Lil’ Sluggers T-Ball Fields.

Fans will also have the chance to tour the Marlins’clubhouse and dugout or create their own baseball card photo.

For the first time in the event’s history, fans will have the opportunit­y for $15 each to try two Marlins Park staples in the Beerfest or the Food & Wine experience, which was previously called “Tómalo Suave.”

The Beerfest offers fans access to samplings of domestic, internatio­nal and local crafts brews from 4-6 p.m. Fans will be given a souvenir five-ounce Beerfest sampling mug to try the different options offered.

Food & Wine allows fans to sample food pairings with a flight of premium wines from 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Both events will be held on the Legends Level of Marlins Park.

Before the start of FanFest, all

Marlins season-ticket holders will be invited to a special State of the Marlins event from 2-3 p.m.

Marlins CEO Derek Jeter and president of baseball operations Michael Hill will be there to discuss the upcoming 2020 season, along with a select number of players.

Fast passes for the FanFest activities with wait times will handed out during the State of the Marlins event.

Members can claims their tickets for the State of the Marlins through their Home Run Rewards accounts.

Admission and parking to the event is compliment­ary for those that claim their tickets.
