A 32-year-old prison inmate, who’s serving time for drug convictions, is facing new charges that include humantrafficking for allegedly forcing a 14-year-old girl into prostitution in 2017.

Olrith “Juice” Joseph allegedly recruited her and four otherwomen for prostitution by beating, starving, and feeding them drugs, according to his arrest record.

Her family reported the girl missing several times, beginning in 2016 whenshe was 13. Her photograph turned up on Facebook in April 2017. Detectives learned a woman nicknamed “Kat” had posted the picture.

Investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and West Palm Beach police said they found about 50 photographs of “Kat” in “Asian Doll” advertisements on a since-closed website that was used for prostitution in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

“Kat” introduced the girl to Joseph at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale in May 2017. The girlwould later tell detectives Joseph — known only as Juice — gave her drugs and forced her to have sex with him because he wanted to test the product before advertising it online, police said.

“I want to see what my money was worth before I post you,” he said, according to the report.

Joseph would have clients come to a hotel room for sex with the girl or he would send the girl to meet the clients. She would get paid anywhere from$80 to $200 up front and Joseph would take all the money from her later, she said, in the arrest report.

Plantation police arrested Joseph in June 2017 for trafficking heroin and possession of cocaine. Detectives had confiscated his phone and found photographs, information about prostitution dates, and text conversations between Joseph andKat discussing the girl’s age.

Kat: “OMG, I found out [she] is really 13 and [what] her real name is. We could have been [expletive] real bad ifwe got caught.”

Joseph: “Oh wow, but kinda thought she was kid.”

Two other women, both 26, and a fifthwoman came forward and told investigators similar stories of how they were recruited into prostitution and drugged and beaten if they did not comply.

Joseph was convicted of the drug charges and sent to prison in Lake County in April 2019. The new charges include kidnapping for human trafficking and committing sexual assault, lewd and lascivious battery on a child between 12and16, coercingcommercial sexual activity, and living off the proceeds of prostitution, records show.
