There will be socially distanced seating clusters, mobile touchless entry into the stadium with staggered gate-entry times listed on tickets and required-mask-wearing for stadium employees and fans while not actively eating or drinking. Therewill be no tailgating and no alcohol. Students will still not be permitted to attend home games after school President Julio Frenk, while first announcing the restriction for thefirst two home games, decided to extend it, citing its effectiveness.

Quick slant: The Miami Hurricanes continue a quest to run through the remainder of the Atlantic Coast Conference schedule, seeking a rematch with No.1 Clemson at season’s end in the ACC championshipgame. They bounced back against Pittsburgh 31-19 last Saturday and now get a Virginia teamthat enters on a three-game losing streak.

About No .11 Miami (4-1,3-1ACC): The Hurricanes were anchored by a defense that stiffened up in the redzone against Pitt lastweek to earn key stops. The UM offense had four touchdowns, mostly on explosive plays in the passing game as offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee had some timely calls to get pass catchers wide open. Quarterback D’Eriq King, while only completing a tad over 50% of his passes and throwing two interceptions, was effective faking the draw to bring defenders in and find his targets over the top for twoof his four touchdown passes.

About Virginia (1-3, 1-3): The Cavaliers are the reigning ACC Coastal Division champs, reaching the conference title game last year, but they don’t look like the teamthat has gone 17-10 over the past two seasons. Virginia, after beating 1-5 Duke in its opener, has lost its last three games by three possessions. Late mishaps in all three phases plagued the Cavaliers in a 40-23 loss at Wake Forest last Saturday.
