Doing and saying anything

What happened to rules and regulations? Freedom is the No. 1 topic in politics. The word has been maligned with the idea that we can do or say anything, even blurting out falsehoods about the COVID-19 vaccine to the point of causing unneeded deaths.

People are pitted against one another based on political beliefs. The governor seeks to attract police officers who did not get the vaccine to leave their state and join him in his political journey. Former President Donald Trump set the stage for lies becoming a way of life but the blame now must be placed on his followers, who have found a path to what they think will be victory by using our precious freedom as a weapon. I’m always surprised at what people believe.
