Boynton Beach resident Denis Leborgne gave his girlfriend Lizzette De Jesus the surprise of a lifetime by proposing to her on stage at a Marc Anthony concert.

Leborgne says creating this moment was 14 months in the making.

During the concert on Nov. 5 at the Hertz Arena in Estero, near Fort Myers, Leborgne and De Jesus were getting serenaded by none other than the Latin Grammy artist himself while getting the perfect front row view.

Leborgne says he was singing her favorite song called “Y Cómo Es Él.”

The video shows the pair being ushered towards the stage after the song. Leborgne says his lady had no idea what was to come and was star stuck when she came face to face with her favorite artist.

That’s when the moment turned even more magical as Leborgne dropped to one knee, on stage, in front of the entire audience, to pop the question.

Talk about stealing the show.

Leborgne says he had a few words prepared but went completely blank once on stage.

Leborgne says their love story started 16 years ago when they first met. At the time, both were married to different people and ultimately went in separate directions. He says they reconnected 10 years later, in 2019. That’s when he realized they were now both divorced.

And the rest is history. After three years of finally being together, Leborgne wanted to create an unforgettable moment for his long lost love.

Leborgne says he would not have been able to pull off such a star studded moment without the help of Michel Vega, CEO of Magnus Media, Mikey Jimenez on the mic production and of course, Marc Anthony.
