Gordon Warren, his wife Carol and family live in Englewood, FL. Her sister Louise Warren Barker and husband Jeffrey live in Washington, NC. Kay’s family moved From St. Augustine to Tallahassee, FL in 1940. In 1948, after her father’s work relocation, the family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Kay attended East Side Elementary School (where she was the May Queen) and Ft. Lauderdale High School, where she was active in clubs and as a

cheerleader. She attended Florida State University for two years and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. In 1960, Kay married Ronald P. Anselmo. Kay cherished her sons, Ronald W. Anselmo, who lives with his wife Karen and sons in St. Augustine, and Randall S. Anselmo, who lives with his family in N. Bennington, VT.

Like her parents, Kay was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale, and her religious faith was central to her life. She

enjoyed many years of charitable work, and was a long-time member of both the Junior League, and the Children’s Aid Society. Kay and Ron were long-time members of the Lauderdale Yacht Club, the Wolf Laurel Country Club in Mars Hill, NC, and in recent years were also members of Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.

In 1962, the family moved to Gainesville,

FL, where husband Ron enrolled in the University of Florida College of Law. Balancing caring for a toddler, and making a home, Kay worked as a legal secretary, while Ron studied. In 1964, the family moved back to Ft. Lauderdale where Ron practiced law until 2000. The family moved to St. Augustine in 2016.

Kay had many talents, but her favorite was dancing. Among other performances, she could be seen on television performing in the Orange Bowl halftime show. She was fearless, whether performing on the flying trapeze in the FSU Flying Circus in college days, skiing the Rockies, hang gliding in her 50s in the

Southern California mountains or ziplining in the NC mountains in her 60s.

A niece recently referred to Kay as “energetic, gleeful, sweet, vibrant, creative, and one of a kind.”

Kay is survived by her loving husband Ron, her two sons Ronald and Randall, four beautiful grandchildren, siblings as mentioned and adoring nieces and nephews. As well, there remain scores of loving friends, as well as devoted caregivers. She will be sorely missed by all.
