Avant-rock trio Muse, known for electrifying, genre-challenging live shows, will bring the spectacle of their Simulation Theory World Tour to the BB&T Center in Sunrise on March 24.

Tickets will cost $39.50-$94 and go on sale noon Friday, Nov. 16, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-7453000. VIP and fan-club presales begin 10 a.m. Nov. 13.

The tour supports the multiplatinum, Grammy Award-winning band’s eighth studio album, “Simulation Theory” (Warner Bros.), set for release on Friday.

With guitarist-keyboardist Matt Bellamy’s moody falsetto layered over the pounding rhythms of bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard, Muse’s brain-tingling aesthetic is best experienced in a live setting, where their “jaw-dropping extravaganza … sets new standards for the possibilities of arena rock” (Britain’s the Independent).

Fans who want to fully immerse themselves in the Muse atmosphere can pay for an Enhanced Experience Package at CIDEntertainment.com.

The package includes a “mixed-reality” preshow party with three virtualreality games inspired by songs from “Simulation Theory,” a premium concert ticket, an interactive photo experience with props and memorabilia from the band’s latest video and more.
