Dancers from New York City Bal­let to per­form at ‘Princely Af­fair’

Boca Bal­let The­atre’s 23rd an­nual “Princely Af­fair” so­cial event and fundraiser lun­cheon will take place Oct. 23 and kick off the 2014-2015 sea­son of dance in a fes­tive and fash­ion­able way, be­gin­ning at noon with a mi­mosa so­cial hour.

Each year, the el­e­gant event at­tracts more than 300 peo­ple to the Great Hall at the Boca Ra­ton Re­sort & Club for an af­ter­noon of din­ing, dance, fab­u­lous raf­fle prizes and silent auc­tion items. The grand prize raf­fle will fea­ture a 4-5 night cruise for two on Royal Caribbean, al­low­ing the win­ner to choose their des­ti­na­tion of choice, be­tween Ber­muda, Caribbean or Europe.

New York City Bal­let (NYCB) prin­ci­pal dancers Ster­ling Hyltin and Jared An­gle will be the fea­tured guest artists, shar­ing the spot­light with dancers fromBoca Bal­let The­atre’s Count­ess de Ho­ernle’s Cen­ter for Dance, who will per­form ex­cerpts from The Nutcracker, pre­sented by Mar­leen and Harold Forkas.

Event chair­woman is Cyn­thia Wohl; and event ad­vi­sor is Car­rie Gib­bons. Cruise raf­fle spon­sors are Gi­u­liano and Judy Loren­zani; Royal Caribbean In­ter­na­tional; and Boca Ra­ton Travel & Cruises, A Di­vi­sion of Luxe Travel.
