Dancers from New York City Ballet to perform at ‘Princely Affair’
Boca Ballet Theatre’s 23rd annual “Princely Affair” social event and fundraiser luncheon will take place Oct. 23 and kick off the 2014-2015 season of dance in a festive and fashionable way, beginning at noon with a mimosa social hour.
Each year, the elegant event attracts more than 300 people to the Great Hall at the Boca Raton Resort & Club for an afternoon of dining, dance, fabulous raffle prizes and silent auction items. The grand prize raffle will feature a 4-5 night cruise for two on Royal Caribbean, allowing the winner to choose their destination of choice, between Bermuda, Caribbean or Europe.
New York City Ballet (NYCB) principal dancers Sterling Hyltin and Jared Angle will be the featured guest artists, sharing the spotlight with dancers fromBoca Ballet Theatre’s Countess de Hoernle’s Center for Dance, who will perform excerpts from The Nutcracker, presented by Marleen and Harold Forkas.
Event chairwoman is Cynthia Wohl; and event advisor is Carrie Gibbons. Cruise raffle sponsors are Giuliano and Judy Lorenzani; Royal Caribbean International; and Boca Raton Travel & Cruises, A Division of Luxe Travel.
