Kick off the sea­son at the Drey­foos School of the Arts Foun­da­tion’s sec­ond an­nual “Drey­foos in White” event. Mod­eled after the “Diner en Blanc” that takes place an­nu­ally in Paris, “Drey­foos in White” is a fundrais­ing event for the young at heart.

Guests dressed in all white will bring a pic­nic din­ner and white ta­ble dé­cor. Ex­trav­a­gance is en­cour­aged, so don’t be afraid to bring your tallest can­de­labra or wear your most stylish cha­peau - guests will want to im­press the ta­blescape judges for a chance to win prizes.

“Drey­foos in White” will take place Nov. 12 from 6-10 p.m. The se­cret lo­ca­tion will not be re­vealed un­til 5 p.m. the evening of the event, via email and so­cial me­dia.

Tick­ets are $40 per per­son for gen­eral seat­ing, with premier re­served ta­bles for ten avail­able for $750.

Gen­eral seat­ing is at long, fam­ily-style ta­bles; guests are en­cour­aged to ar­rive promptly to en­sure their party can be seated to­gether.

For guests who would rather leave the din­ner plan­ning to the pro­fes­sion­als, con­tact cater­ing part­ner SandyJames Fine Foods at 561-366-0012 for any­thing from a prix fixe menu to white glove ser­vice.

Don’t miss out on the Drey­foos in White Prize Draw­ing! Tick­ets for the prize draw­ing are $25 each or three for $50 for the chance to win ei­ther a French get­away for two with air­fare do­nated by Greg and Karen Gol­nick, a credit with www.HotelPlan­ner.com and Paris Hono­tel, as well as a three-night stay at Le Chateau de Pi­com­tel in the French Alps; or a Palm Beach stay­ca­tion for two in­clud­ing a two-night stay at Eau Palm Beach Re­sort and Spa, a credit to the Eau Spa, tick­ets to the Palm Beach Opera, The Plaza The­atre, the Grand Tast­ing at Palm Beach Food and­Wine Fest, and lo­cal restau­rant cer­tifi­cates.

The stu­dents and alumni of Drey­foos School of the Arts will pro­vide en­ter­tain­ment for the evening.

All pro­ceeds from the event ben­e­fit the Drey­foos School of the Arts Foun­da­tion, which helps fund the arts and aca­demic pro­grams at the in­ter­na­tion­ally rec­og­nized Alexan­der W. Drey­foos School of the Arts in down­townWest Palm Beach. The pub­lic arts high school of­fers ad­vanced arts stud­ies in the ar­eas of com­mu­ni­ca­tion arts, dance, dig­i­tal me­dia, vo­cal and in­stru­men­tal mu­sic, theater and visual arts along­side a strong aca­demic cur­ricu­lum.
