Sig­na­ture Dishes and mu­sic ex­cel­lence at Nov. 6 ‘Fifty Ta­bles Un­der the Stars’

OnNov. 6, Lynn Univer­sity and The Shops of Boca Cen­ter will come to­gether for the sec­ond an­nual “Fifty Ta­bles Un­der the Stars” event.

The event fea­tures a three-course prix fixe menu from the cen­ter’s sig­na­ture restau­rants as well as stu­dents from the Lyn­nUniver­sity Con­ser­va­tory of Mu­sic’s en­sem­bles Po­tomac Brass, The Knights and DamesWind Quin­tet and the Sen­si­ble String Quar­tet, who will per­form for din­ers in The Shops of Boca Cen­ter’s newly de­signed court­yard. Apor­tion of the pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit Con­ser­va­tory of Mu­sic stu­dents.

“The tal­ented mu­si­cians and ex­tra­or­di­nary fac­ulty at Lynn rep­re­sent the fu­ture of the per­form­ing arts, and the gen­eros­ity of the Boca Cen­ter to host the ’Fifty Ta­bles Un­der the Stars’ event helps pave the road to their artis­tic suc­cess,” said Jon Robert­son, dean of the Lynn Univer­sity Con­ser­va­tory of Mu­sic.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing restau­rants in­clude: Rocco’s Ta­cos, Un­cle Tai’s, BRIO Tus­can Grille and Mor­ton’s Steak­house.

The night be­gins with a cham­pagne toast in the out­door At­las Re­cep­tion lounge fol­lowed by a brass fan­fare ush­er­ing din­ers to their seats at the se­lected restau­rants. Menu items will range from a Mor­ton’s filet mignon to jumbo shrimp and sugar snap peas in white wine sauce fromUn­cle Tai’s. Brio’s menu in­cludes grilled yel­low fish tuna fresca with farro, spinach and a tomato Vinai­grette; Rocco’s Ta­cos is serv­ing lob­ster mol­ca­jete paired with El Mayor Re­s­posado Cadil­lac mar­gar­i­tas. Prices range from $95-$155 per per­son with por­tion of pro­ceeds do­nated to Lyn­nUniver­sity’s Con­ser­va­tory of Mu­sic.

“We are proud to have cul­ti­vated a part­ner­ship and won­der­ful syn­ergy be­tween The Shops of Boca Cen­ter and Lynn Univer­sity. We have cre­ated ex­cit­ing fundrais­ing events, spe­cial shop­ping and din­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties, and of­fer a unique plaza where stu­dents and fac­ulty alike can come to en­joy them­selves just steps away from their cam­pus,” said Can­dace Gold­stein, real es­tate man­ager for CBRE at Boca Cen­ter.

The event takes place Nov. 6 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. (rain date is Nov. 7). The Court­yard at the Shops of Boca Ra­ton is lo­cated on Mil­i­tary Trail in Boca Ra­ton one mile north of Pal­metto Park Road.
