FAU to host ‘Internet of Things’ event in Boca
The South Florida Technology Alliance plans an “Internet of Things” event from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Florida Atlantic University’s Tech Runway, 901 NW 35th St., in Boca Raton.
Internet of Things is the term given to the development of everyday objects with network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data.
Fred Yentz, chief executive of Londonbased Telit Internet of Things Platforms, will discuss the issues with the Internet of Things marketplace. To register, go to southfloridatech.org. Tickets are $45 in advance, $55 after Tuesday. The cost for South Florida Technology Alliance members is $25.
