Comedy

Lewis Black: According to “The Rules of Engagement,” he’s mad as hell and he’s not going to take it anymore. Black’s in-yourface frankness skewers politics, pop culture and celebrities. The Yale drama grad is a playwright, actor, talk show fave and standup comedian. But it was his regular stint on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” that proved to be his big break. Indignant, irreverent, exasperated and acerbic, the comedic commentator attacks both entertainment and political icons. 8 p.m., Coral Springs Center for the Arts, 2855 Coral Springs Drive. $49.82-$71.02, 954-344-5990, coralspringscenterforthearts.com.
