Boat shows
The Miami International Boat Show, featuring boats in the water and boats and marine accessories on land, is Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Miami Marine Stadium in Key Biscayne. Strictly Sail Miami is at Miamarina at Bayside.
Parking locations include Marlins Park and AmericanAirlines Arena. Free shuttle buses run to and from the show and the baseball park, Bayfront Park, AmericanAirlines Arena and the Hyatt Hotel.
Free water taxi service runs from Bayfront Park, American Airlines Arena, the Hyatt Hotel and the W Miami.
Tickets are $40 for Premier Day on Thursday and $25 thereafter for adults. A two-day pass is $45 and a five-day pass is $100. Admission is free for ages 15 and younger. Tickets and discounted parking can be purchased at miamiboatshow.com.
The 29th annual Yachts Miami Beach is along Collins Avenue between 41st and 54th streets from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the first four days and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
The show has more than 500 yachts, which this year will be arranged in new and brokerage sections to make it easier to find the boats you want to see.
In addition, the show has more than 20 superyachts up to 236 feet at Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island. Along with the latest in marine technology and accessories, the value of the products on display is more than $1 billion.
There is shuttle bus and water taxi service to and from local parking garages as well as a shuttle bus between Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami show.
Admission is $20 and free for those under 16. Tickets and parking are available at yachtsmiamibeach.com.
The International Game Fish Association has the seventh annual Legendary Captains & Crew Awards from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale.

Sailfish tournament:
The Sailfish Challenge, the third leg of the Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series, is Feb. 24-25. The entry fee is $1,584. Final registration is Feb. 22 at Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill in Fort Lauderdale.
