Modern-rock crowdpleasers Linkin Park will bring their One More Light World Tour to Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach Aug. 20, with tickets going on sale Friday.

No word yet on cost, but tickets can be purchased beginning at noon at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. A series of fan-club presales begins today, with registration going on now at Presale.LinkinPark.com.

The Live Nation tour, which opens July 27 in Boston, includes rapper Machine Gun Kelly as the opening act.

The shows take their name from the band’s seventh studio album, “One More Light,” set for release May 19 on Warner Bros. Records. Popular for the soul-bearing grind of such hits as “In the End,” “Numb,” “One Step Closer,” “Crawling,” “Faint,” “What I’ve Done” and “New Divide,” Linkin Park says the album will be its most personal.

“The emotional and sonic content of this new batch of songs is going to bring a whole new dimension to the show,” guitarist Brad Delson says in a press blurb.

Each full-price ticket purchase includes a choice of a CD or digital copy of “One More Light.” A dollar from every ticket sold will benefit Music for Relief, the Linkin Park foundation (MusicForRelief.org) that aids survivors of natural disasters and environmental crises.
