A police funeral and ongoing construction projects will contribute to road closures and detours in the coming week.

Fort Lauderdale: Expect heavy traffic delays between Wilton Manors and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Monday.

A large police funeral procession will affect traffic along Interstate 95 and Broward Boulevard between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Road closures will be in effect from the 400 to 700 blocks of Southwest Second Street and the 100 block of Southwest Fifth Avenue.

Oakland Park: Crosswalk painting will close Oakland Park Boulevard at the Florida East Coast Railway crossing from 7 a.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday. Hollywood: Motorists on Johnson Street won’t be able to drive across State Road 7 from 5 a.m. today through 5 a.m. Monday so crews can install a water main at that intersection.

Traffic on Johnson Street can turn north or south at State Road 7 to get around the work zone.

Traffic on State Road 7 won’t be able to make a left turn onto Johnson Street.

Miramar: The entrance ramp from westbound Miramar Parkway to northbound I-75 will be closed from 2 a.m. today through 5 a.m. Monday so crews can finish rebuilding the ramp.

Miami Gardens :Anew entrance ramp from westbound Miami Gardens Drive to southbound I-75 will open Monday morning.

The new intersection will have traffic signals and it will replace the existing I-75 entrance loop ramp.

Miami-Dade: Get used to the overnight closures of the express lanes on I-95 between State Road 112 and the Golden Glades Interchange.

The nearly $90 million project will run until 2020 and will shift lanes and create five emergency stopping areas, among other modifications.

Construction will close the express lanes between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m. Friday and May 27.

Schedules may change depending on poor weather or other unforeseen circumstances, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
